How to register your Event or Training Venue as an “Additional Insured”

When a HEMAA Affiliate runs an event or rents a training area they will often find that the landlord, or a business connected to them, requires that they be named on our insurance policy as "Additional Insured".  

Steps & Requirements

  • Additional Insureds covers Commercial Property or Businesses, not Individuals.

  • AI’s cannot insure personal property, such as a house or yard.

  • AI’s cannot insure you, as an individual, or property you own.

  • Approximate turnaround time: up two weeks — there are no RUSH Orders.

Please do not email the GC until at least the two week minimum has been reached. The GC will email you the certificate when they receive it from our Insurer.
